Po pierwsze dlatego, że członkami Stowarzyszenia są ludzie nadaktywni społeczni, po drugi, że Stowarzyszenie zostało powołane właśnie po to by w ramach organizacyjnych tę dyskusję prowadzić. I nie potrzeba tu chyba żadnych "stanowisk","uchwał", "listów otwartych" - forma publikacji wystarczy.
Mamy oczywiscie frustrujący problem bo w społeczeństwie obywatelskim, głos obywateli powinien być zauważany. Niestety struktura polskiego państwa jest całkowicie podporządkowana partyjnemu porządkowi - co z gruntu jest prawidłowym załozeniem współczesnych demokracji. Ale tu mamy wyłacznie do czynienia z miałkością partii i całkowitym niezrozumienie ich roli, ograniczonej wyłącznie do "burkowatej gonitwy za kością i ochłapem i z jazgotem ujadania i warczenia na siebie"...
A gdzie intelektualna rola partii? Gdzie te ośrodki myśli polityczno-ekonomicznej jakimi partie w swojej istocie przecież winny być - bo wokół jakiejś mysli, jakiejś koncepcji się przecież winny ogniskować? W żadnej z polskich partii, w żadnym partyjnym ośrodku decyzyjnym nie ma nawet krztyny myślenia koncepcyjnego. Nie korzysta się z niczyjego dorobku. Puszcza...

Problem z partiami politycznymi polega na tym, że różnice programowe między nimi są niedostrzegalne. Panuje wszechobecny, chłodny racjonalizm. Gdzież te płomienne spory ideowe, gdzie angażujące szerokie grupy społeczne debaty i spory? Jest tylko walka o tzw. "stołki" i polityka "haków". Konia z rzędem temu, kto wskaże czym się różni LiD od PO. W sferze deklaracji rzecz jasna te różnice są, w sferze realizacji programu już nie są tak wyraźne.
Skandalem jest, że w obliczu pauperyzacji szerokich grup społeczeństwa, klasy wykluczone nie posiadają kanału transmisji swoich interesów do polityki. Takim kanałem powinna być lewica, takim rzecznikiem powinien być LiD. Czas, aby polscy politycy zrozumieli, że nie da się prowadzić polityki służącej wszystkim. Taka forma sprawowania władzy to postpolityka.
Zgadzam się z belgijską politolożką Chantal Mouffe, która uważa, że nie da się zlikwidować podziałów w społeczeństwie. Da się jednak je okiełznać i nadać im cywilizowaną formą. Taką formą jest demokracja parlamentarna. Warunek jest jeden - partie polityczne powinny się od siebie różnić, działać zgodnie ze swoją tożsamością oraz prowadzić walkę polityczną. Lewica powinna być lewicą a nie jakąś liberalizującą hybrydą, a prawica powinna być konsekwentną prawicą. Demokracja jest bowiem KONFLIKTEM a nie konsensusem politycznych elit ponad głowami suwerena czyli nas - społeczeństwa.
Jeżeli obywatele nie będą mieli żadnych alternatyw wobec panującego porządku, jeżeli wszystkie ugrupowania będą opierać się na podobnych założeniach doktrynalnych to prędzej czy później pojawią się formacje, które te alternatywne wizje państwa zaproponują.
